MINI COUNTRYMAN: MAKE ROOM.
Family time is something that is precious to Perth mum Justine Ilarda.
With three small daughters, she says any opportunity to leave their busy schedules behind and spend time together is special.
So taking the MINI Countryman to Margaret River for their first family camping trip made for a weekend full of memories.
“There are so many things to do there, whether it’s visiting the gorgeous beaches, tasting wine at the wineries, chilling out at cafes, eating at restaurants or like what we did, just spending quality time together as a family camping out in nature under the stars,” Justine says.
The family set out to explore Prevelly Beach, Canal Rocks and Yallingup Beach. Justine says the MINI Countryman’s adaptive cruise control meant for an easy and comfortable drive, and the heated leather seats were a family favourite when the sun started to set.
The Countryman’s generous boot space also made for easy packing – and the hands-free rear access made packing up the girls’ suitcase, toys and games between stops easy and quick.
“We had actually never camped out as a family before so it was a first for the girls,” Justine says.
“They were a bit apprehensive at first but after the first night and enjoying melting marshmallows in the camp fire and seeing the kangaroos close by to our tent in the morning, they really enjoyed being out in the country.”
